Saar Club Wins Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Table Tennis League

Saar Club were crowned champions of the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Table Tennis League for Cubs for the 2025–2026 season after defeating Maqaba Club 3–1 in the final. The victory secured Saar the title with a perfect unbeaten record for the second consecutive season, while Maqaba won silver and Bahrain Club received bronze.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the final match of the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Table Tennis League for Cubs for the 2025–2026 sports season was held between Saar Club and Maqaba Club.

The final match was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the General Sports Authority; Her Excellency Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association; Ms. Dana Mohammed Mudhaffar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Facilities and Projects; Ms. Lubna Al Wazzan, Director of Human and Financial Resources; and a number of board members and officials from the General Sports Authority.

Saar Club were crowned champions of the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation League after winning 3–1 following a strong contest. With this victory, the club secured the league title with a perfect record and without any defeat, confirming its deserving right to retain the title for the second consecutive season.

The head-to-head results were as follows: Nasser Al Alawi defeated Hashem Al Banna 3–0, before Ahmed Al Banna levelled the match after defeating Hassan Ibrahim. Moamen Jaafar and Nasser Al Alawi then sealed the match for Saar with victories over Yousif Al Banna and Ahmed Al Banna, with scores of 3–0 and 3–2 respectively.

At the conclusion of the competitions, Her Excellency Sheikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa and Ms. Dana Mohammed Mudhaffar crowned Saar Club with the gold medals, Maqaba Club with the silver medals, and Bahrain Club with the bronze medals.
