Gold Bank

Gold Bank

The Gold Bank Initiative was launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is part of the “Injaz Committee” under the General Sports Authority. The Gold Bank is a significant strategic project aimed at collecting, preserving, and documenting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s remarkable sports achievements and youth accomplishments throughout its rich history.

The Gold Bank offers all Bahraini athletes (including players, coaches, officials, administrators, specialists, and others) the opportunity to register their accomplishments on the initiative’s website officially. Submissions must include all supporting documents and photographs that verify the achievement of a gold medal (first place) or its equivalent, in accordance with the criteria approved by the Gold Bank.

Participating in the Gold Bank Initiative is regarded as a national contribution to a project that highlights Bahrain’s pioneering achievements in sports and youth sectors. It aims to preserve the nation's honorable history in detail and pass it on to future generations. This initiative plays a vital role in documenting and safeguarding the accomplishments of Bahrain’s sports and youth movement in a way that reflects their significance and prestige.
